I Murdered A Life Today! (Read At Your Own Risk)

Hey! As in the title of the post, I murdered a life today, the life of a white rat! Of course, we had our Biology lab session today and we dissected a rat. Since C1 class and our class are the first groups to do this experiment, I can't wait to share all the photos with you all. However, photoshooting and videocaming are strictly not allow in the lab, so please please please don't share this post around on Facebook.

I would like to share about my feeling of being a 'murderer' today, even though my lecturer said it's in the name of scien
ce, which I think it is just an excuse to kill an innocent creature. I was afraid of carrying out this experiment, I have NEVER dissect anything before this! The moment that I almost cried out was when the white rat is placed on
the dissection tray, fainted/half-dead, lying there and looked innocent. It's so sad that it has to die without having the chance to struggle, and fight for his own right (mine was a ma
le rat).

Well.... for any experiment details, I am not going to share it here as another 2 classes will carry out this experiment tomorrow! Wish you all luck! Here's s
ome pictures of the rat being dissected, see it at your own risk, and if you are easily disgusted, leave this page!

This pitiful fella waiting to be dissected.

My friend was cutting the outer layer open.

The dissection and all the inner organs.

After this whole new experience, we have to do our work, lab report!!! We were asked to draw 3 pictures for the dissected rat, I mean seriously, like draw?? Everyone knows I can't draw. Drawing is one of the hardest thing to do on earth, at least for me. If there's anyone out there who is willing to do for me, call me! :p
